A Tribute to Mazars

I am dreaming to be an auditor since I was in senior high school. My teacher told me how challenging and pleasant works of her as an auditor.

And then, when I was in University, I've got a brilliant lecturer for three subjects of Auditing: Auditing 1, Auditing 2, and Auditing Laboratory. She worked for PWC when she was younger and single. She sometimes told her students in the class her experiences in PWC. I am impressed and amazed. Now she is a head of finance at my campus, Perbanas.

She and all of her experience made my obsession to become auditor stronger.

Story goes on. Every year, all of CIMB Niaga scholarship recipients, like me, have an annual gathering. And once, the motivator of the gathering in 2010 (if I am not mistaken), said that all of us should have THE BEST DREAM to be dreamed, don't ever negotiate in determining the dream. So, I was rethinking about my dream to be an auditor. It's not "best" enough. And I remember one of my best lecturer's quote: "good is enemy of best". So, I just reproduce my dream: "I want to have my own super business: the first International-recognized of a local public accountant firm"

Hmm. Dream is free. So, why you don't just dream The Best Dream you can think...

Next. In my last semester, my Auditing Seminar lecturer is a partner! She has her own accounting firm. I really admire her. And she has a CPA. I should be better than her. I believe I can.

Okay, after I'm graduated from Perbanas, I have a chance to have training in a medium-leveled Public Accounting Firm, it's KAP HMR. My another lecturer works there. The training is only for two months, but it's very useful, although it's not quite different from what I've already learned in Auditing Laboratory subject in campus.

And, finally, we reached the final point of this writing: I worked for Mazars! This is my first work and it's an internationally accounting firm! Okay, I'll tell you about my experience at Mazars in a semi-poem writing below:

Alhamdulillah…
I am lucky.
I should realize that.
I am lucky for having a wonderful two-month, the most unforgettable moment ever, here.
It will not be the same anymore, I know.
But, at least, I already experienced that.

I have the loveliest manager here: smart, patience, and high motivated.
She gave me many chances and trust to learn many things here.
For the short two-months here, I already conducted Understanding & Walkthrough, Physical Count of Inventory, Balance Confirmation, and Substantive Test for Cash-Taxes-Prepayment-Operating Expenses- Inventory.
I will get more if I stay longer, I know.
But, if I cannot be grateful for what I already earned, I know God won’t give anymore to me.

Alhamdulillah…
I am lucky.
I should realize that.
I have pleasant work mates in my batch.
It’s really surprising that we can be good friends although we only have really a short time to meet in office in these two months because we are assigned to different clients.
It will be nice if we can be promoted together in this appraisal period, I know.
But I know God know which one is nicer for me and my career.

Alhamdulillah…
I am lucky.
I should realize that.
I’ve got nice seniors in my team here.
For the short two months, I am already assigned for three different teams in three different clients, and I am also assigned for four different Physical Inventory Count teams, and for those all I’ve got really nice seniors.
I learned many things from them.
I will get chance to be like them if I stay here.
But maybe God want me to be more than just like them.

Alhamdulillah…
I am lucky.
I really need to realize that, so I will not be sad.
I do not have to be sad, or even feel hurt.
I know it will not be the same anymore… but it will be better, for me, hopefully… it should be better… it must be better…

Barcelona, The Top of The List

On last 28 October, a page in facebook named Manchester United Fans made a vote: "What's Your Most Hated Football Team ?!"

Of course, the voters are those who support United and like the page. So, the result of the voting will show the most hated football team by United fans.

The result shows Barcelona on the top of the list with 65 voters. And the noisy neighbor comes in the second. I am one of the 64 voters for them.

It's not surprised because Barcelona has put us in the second position twice in last three finals in Champions League. However, unlike many fans of United, I don't hate them. I just hate them for one until six days during and after the final, but then I realize that they are good and deserve the title.

And about the noisy, everyone knows that they are now our main competitor in Premier League, by ignoring the fact that they are already our true rival since we come from same city. We always talk about which one between us is the TRUE MANCHESTER: Red or Blue.

After Barca and the noisy neighbor, Chelsea shows in the third position. Yeah, I agree with this. I really hate them, after the noisy, because they got the title by money, it is really weird someone like Abramovich wants a title but he wants get it instantly. Ckck.

Then, Liverpool is the fourth most hated club by United fans. Actually I never really hate them although I am very happy that now we are the King, not them anymore. I cannot hate them because my best friend ever really love them. Hehe.

In the fifth position, there is Arsenal. I used to hate them so much. I remember that my old United diary is full of hated words and story about them. But now, I just feel sorry for them. Besides, there are many muslims join Arsenal. So, I cannot hate them anymore. Furthermore, they are now really nice to us. They gave us a 8-2 winning this season in OT. Haha... Seriously, Thank You so much Papa Arsene (smile please, pa).

The rests of the list are Madrid, Leeds (the one which should be our no.1 enemy because of the history), AC Milan, Everton, Muenchen (seriously? I think we should thank them for the most amazing final of UCL ever in 1999), Wigan (I cannot guess the reason), Ipswich Town (Don't ask me, I have no idea), Partizan Belgrade (This must be caused by something bad in UCL), and Rosenborg (Yeah, who knows :P).

I was hurt so badly when last week UNITED is beaten by their noisy neighbor with poor score: 6-1. It’s my worst nightmare ever T____T

Spontaneously I decide to sign my fesbuk, twitter, and YM off, ignore all the news either in the television, internet or newspaper. There is only one dominant thought in my head: I should dig a hole and burn myself there.

I asked myself thousand times: what happened to my UNITED? Why is this happened? Hello, you are really my heroes or not?

It’s really hurt when I watched the noisy neighbor score the fourth goal and I turned off the television (because I can’t watch the replay and the celebration – it’s really hurt for me T___T) but a few minutes later I turned it on again their score was already SIX. How come?

I blamed the players. Nani, Welbeck, Evans, Jones, and even their manager, Sir Alex, are all wrongs, for me.

And then I realized one thing: what a bad fan I am T____T

Supporting a team should not mean you expect them to always win and blame them if they lost in a game. Ckck. It’s really unfair!

The fans should realize that they are only the fans, not the player, or even the manager! They do not know the real feeling of LOST. The players are the ones who played the game, were very tired but still suffered the LOST. The manager is the one who made a strategy, shouted along the game, but still got LOST.

They are the ones who deserve a complaint. A very big complaint. But, to whom is the complaint? GOD? Well, if you forget, I am reminding you all: “This is life, not heaven. You cannot always get what you want.”

So, back to the story. I realized then that I should accept this result. I can’t just continue muttering: could the match be restarted from 0-0 please???

I should try imagining being in de Gea’s shoes. It’s very unimaginable to suffer SIX goals in a match. So sorry, de Gea! I hope you are strong enough to learn all the mistakes you maybe do that day.

Well, they are only human, they can also get lost in match, no matter how big the score is.

And life must go on.

Tonight, they win 1-0 from Everton. Congratulation!

But I still cannot stand to see premier league table or the list of top scorer. Huff. Yeah, you can call me a bad fan. Whatever. It’s just really hurt for me, seriously. Or maybe you can call me a coward. Yeah, whatever. I live this life not to please you, but GOD. Hoho :P

And I am still waiting any club that can get mancit down by a worse score, 10-0 will be very nice, seriously :P

I have a new dream since that night: MANCIT will suffer degradation soon, or even this season, I don’t care “how”.

And I am still shouting, in fesbuk or twitter, that UNITED is still a KING OF ENGLAND. It’s the fact, last time I checked.

And I think I know the continuity of writing written in that bald player of mancit’s t-shirt: WHY ALWAYS ME THAT IS UGLY. Ups. Haha.

It's very long time since my last post. Exactly, I didn't write anything for 10 months! Wow, Subhanallah... I envy so much that time in 'blog world' moves faster than time in reality. I hope you get what I mean. Haha.

So, what's up, UNITED? Well, they are fine, despite the fact that they lost back to back, from Liverpool and Chelsh*it two weeks ago.
They are fine, because they still go on in three competition, keep the chance to TREBLE alive: Premier League, FA, and Champions League. So sorry for Arsenal, hihi, the no 1 competitor in the two competitions. Well, Arsenal was already defeated in FA, they only become the burden in EPL now, hoho.

In Champions League, UNITED meets Chelsh*t in quarter final. Can't wait. Haha.

SO, keep moving on, keep the Real Red Flag flying high, my UNITED hero. You know that I can't smile without you :D

Save Our Earth

(this my writing is the 1st winner in The British Institute - TBI Writing Competition)

Imagine these conditions: dry land without any trees is everywhere, number of skin cancer cases increases, people cannot go out without wearing jacket although it is a sunny day, number of active volcano is higher than before, floods are everywhere, there is only big island left (say goodbye to many famous beautiful small islands), and there is snow in tropical countries on the night while the day is very hotter than before. Do you think all of them are only hyperbola fantasy? I do not think so. If we still do not give more attention to the earth now, they are possible to happen in the future. They are not only fantasy!

I am not scaring you all, but usually people will not start doing some action if they do not suffer the cause first. So, imagine that you can see the future, and what you see is more or less same as the conditions I told you in the beginning. It is possible, you know, because there are many evidences exist around us that you actually can find out sooner if you are more curious about the earth. The first evidence is the numerous of weird and horrible disasters. In Indonesia, some of us suffered tsunami in Aceh, terrible earthquake in Yogyakarta and Padang, and mud disaster in Sidoarjo. Moreover, there are apocalyptic hurricanes in USA, big forest fires in Australia, and terrible floods in Nepal. The next evidence is number of diseases such as malaria, cholera, and asthma that are increasing. Those diseases are influenced by the global warming. Asthma comes because if air pollution, malaria is spread by the warmer condition of world, and cholera is caused by water pollution. Furthermore, you can feel by yourself that sun is becoming hotter. At last, final evidence is the increase of extinct animal number.

It’s time to do some actions. You should not think about some hard actions like using environmentally friendly products, especially the electronic machine such as computer, refrigerator, washing machine, and dryer. Some of you maybe still cannot afford them for this moment. So, let’s start thinking about simple activities that everyone surely can do those. I’ll give you some examples of simple activities. First, stop throwing rubbish everywhere, although it’s only a candy wrapper. You also can begin to advise people that you meet in the street. Stop them from polluting the earth! However, it needs some courage from you. Then, stop using plastic as long as possible. For example, you can bring your own bag when you go shopping so you do not need the plastic bag from the shop anymore.

The next simple activity is avoiding cigarette. I know it is hard for some cigarette addicts to stop smoking instantly, but please think about the future. Furthermore, you can start taking bicycle or mass transportation instead of motorcycle or car. I do not forbid you to have a car or motorcycle. You still can have them as long as you want. I only ask you to do not use them for daily or routine activities, like for going to school, campus, or office every day. Moreover, reduce the use of paper. You can ask your teacher or lecturer whether you can print the assignment in two sides of paper. If they allow you to do it, you can tell to your classmates to do same thing. Then, the last example of simple activity is saving energy. Unplug the cable of electronic appliances whenever you stop working with them. Drive your vehicle 55 mph instead of 65 mph because it can reduce emissions.
So, you now can choose two kind of future: the bad or the good one. Do not wait until the disaster comes to you to start being green. Do it right now! Remember, we only have one world. You cannot move to another new world after break the old one.

Why Do They Often Talk About Him?

Mr. Septo, my English lecturer at Perbanas Asian Banking Finance and Informatics Institute, is a very famous person at my campus. Most of students and lecturers know him. Especially for the students, he is an unforgettable person. They like talking about Mr. Septo all the time. I think it is caused by the difficulties that they meet to pass Mr. Septo’s class. The difficulties are the high standards that Mr. Septo determines to pass his class, the discipline of Mr. Septo, and his unique way to motivate others.

Mr. Septo determines high standards for students who want to pass his class. The students must be talkative in the class. They should ask if they do not understand his explanation. On the other hand, they are expected to answer any question from him. Mr. Septo doesn’t like if they just keep quiet, whether they understand or not. Furthermore, the students must do the project in English For Academic Purpose class as Mr. Septo’s instructions. He wants the students’ writing becomes more organized one. He pays attention to the structure of the paragraph very well. In fact, most of students consider either being talkative or writing with well structure is very difficult. It is not strange that they are worried about failure to pass Mr. Septo’s class.

The second difficulties is the discipline of Mr. Septo. The students must come to the class on time. In addition, they are ordered to bring an oxford dictionary every class meeting. Not only that, but the students also must submit all papers, works, and projects on time. If they are late to submit the tasks, their score will be minus 20 points. Meanwhile, if they come late or do not bring the dictionary, they will get a punishment. That’s why Mr. Septo is called a disciplinarian.

The last, Mr. Septo has an unique way to motivate students. He likes saying “See you next semester” to remind the students to study harder or they will not pass his class. Moreover, Mr. Septo sometimes says something that may hurt students’ feeling, but actually he wants the students realize their mistakes and make changes to improve their ability in English. He cares about his students very much. The good students will not feel down with whatever he says, instead they will be motivated to study harder.

The high standards to pass, the discipline, and the unique way to motivate are the difficulties that the students meet in Mr. Septo’s class. It is not strange that they like talking about Mr. Septo and these difficulties all the time. I hope they also discuss about the way to pass, and practice what they had discussed. The suitable words for them is “Talk Less, Does More”. However, in the class they should follow these words: “Talk More, Get More”.

The TOP and The Ballon...

UNITED lost Wayne Rooney and Darren Fletcher who got injury after playing for their own Country in World Cup 2010 qualification.

However, they got a winning on October 17, 2009, and back to the TOP! Sugoi! Cool!

This comeback is helped by Aston Villa which surprisingly beat Chelsea at Villa Park although the guest played better than the host.

Zat Knight made an own goal at 5th minute (thanks to him) and Antonio Valencia finally made his first goal for UNITED at 32th minute. Omedetoo, boy!

Tetsuko Kuroyanagi てつこ　くろやなぎ

I just realized something recently: TOTTO-CHAN really is an amazing book; I should know it since years ago. Unfortunately, the fact is I just knew about the book and finished it. What a pity!
Even, I wouldn’t know about the book if my ‘Senpai’ didn’t give it to me as a birthday gift.

Thanks so much to her! I love you, sis!

I always envy so much every author that is successful to write an amazing, unique, and different book. I hope someday is my turn to fell the sensation of being an amazing author, aamiin…
I will make a brief review about the book. Sorry if all of you have read the book and my review is not useful at all. Haha… It’s okay. I can accept that.

Tetsuko, who has a nick name of Totto-chan, told us in this book about her definitely unique elementary school, named Tomoe Gakuen, and its headmaster. In addition, actually her own self is also unique. I am impressed of her childhood and her behaviour as a kid. She really has a wonderful childhood. It is very different with my childhood as a quiet and shy girl.

There are many unique things in the school, here are some of them:
1. The classes are held in used railway coaches, not in a building!
2. Every student in a class can choose what subject to learn first every day, no matter what others’ choice is! The teacher job is giving a help and explanation to everyone that faces a difficulty in his or her self-learning-process.
3. The headmaster asks the students to bring lunch from house and the lunch must contain something from land and something from sea everyday!

Mr. Sosaku Kobayashi, the headmaster, is DEFINITELY a lovely person who really loves children. He never said ‘no’ to children, he is never angry to them, and he never calls them as bad children. He believes that every child has a nice character. His teaching method is really needed in this world. Every parent should learn the method to grow the children well from him. I am serious. If they obey Mr. Kobayashi’s rule, the violent won’t exist anymore! Believe me!

Totto-chan is one of lucky children that are very proud of Mr. Kobayashi. The headmaster never calls her as a bad girl although she has more fantasy than has any child as she always tries to do many things danger and annoying so that she was dropped out from her first elementary school! She is really thankful that she met Mr. Kobayashi that always believes her as a nice girl.

Wow, I cried and laughed so much when I read the book. Don’t be a next socially awkward person, so please read this amazing book!

If you can’t find it anywhere, I will lend mine to you pleasantly! Hey, don’t laugh; I’m not making a joke!

Bad Day ;(

That was not a good day for UNITED. They struggled to get a draw againts Sunderland at Old Trafford on October 3, 2009!

Thanks to Anton Ferdinand that saved UNITED from the defeat. His own goal at the injury time made UNITED at least got 1 point.

The bad news is UNITED must leave the TOP.

The only goal scorer from UNITED was Dimitar Berbatov.

Manchester United still lead the Group B of UCL 2009/10 after a 2-1 winning againts Wolfsburg in an entertaining game at Old Trafford on September 30, 2009.

The goal scorers were Ryan Giggs and Michael Carrick. The goal of Ryan's is his 150th goal for UNITED.

Meanwhile, The Bundesliga side, this is the first defeat in their debut in Europe's premier club competition this season.

UNITED are now three points clear at the top of Group B with six points. Wolfsburg and CSKA Moscow have three points while Besiktas are bottom with none after their defeat to the Russians in the day's early game.

Ladies team
Manchester United Ladies FC was founded in 1977 as Manchester United Supporters Club Ladies. They joined the Three Counties League in 1979, and became founder members of the North West Women's Regional Football League in 1989, when they officially changed their name to Manchester United Ladies FC. Although they were relegated from the league in their first season, they were promoted again the season after and went on to win the league title in 1995–96. For the 1998–99 season, the team joined the Northern Combination, two steps below the FA Women's Premier League. They were officially brought under the banner of Manchester United FC at the start of the 2001–02 season, but they were controversially disbanded before the start of the 2004–05 season for financial reasons. The decision was met with considerable criticism given the profits made by Manchester United and also due to the fact that the teams were withdrawn from all their leagues before the players were even informed of the decision. However, the club is still involved in girls' football, offering coaching to girls under the age of 16.

Early years (1878–1945)
The club was formed as Newton Heath L&YR F.C. in 1878 as the works team of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway depot at Newton Heath.

The club's shirts were green and gold halves.

They played on a small, dilapidated field on North Road for fifteen years, before moving to Bank Street in the nearby town of Clayton in 1893.

The club had entered The Football League the previous year and began to sever its links with the rail depot, becoming an independent company, appointing a club secretary and dropping the "L&YR" from their name to become simply Newton Heath F.C..

Not long afterwards, in 1902, the club neared bankruptcy, with debts of over £2,500. At one point, their Bank Street ground was closed by the bailiffs.

Just before having to be shut down for good, the club received a sizeable investment from J. H. Davies, the managing director of Manchester Breweries.

It was decided at one of the early board meetings that the club required a change of name to reflect the fresh start they had been afforded. Manchester Central and Manchester Celtic were among the names suggested, before Louis Rocca, a young immigrant from Italy, said "Gentlemen, why don't we call ourselves Manchester United?" The name stuck, and Manchester United officially came into existence on 26 April 1902.

Davies also decided it would be appropriate to change the club's colours, picking red and white to be the colours of Manchester United.

The club was promoted to the First Division for the first time under their new name by finishing in second place in the 1905–06 Second Division.

United finally won their first league title in 1908.

The 1908–09 season began with United picking up another piece of silverware, the first ever Charity Shield, and ended with another, the club's first FA Cup title, sowing the seeds for what has become a record number of FA Cup titles.

In the 1910–11 season, United moved to their new ground at Old Trafford. They played their first game there on 19 February 1910 against Liverpool, but lost 4–3 having thrown away a 3–0 lead.

United went trophyless again in the 1911–12 season, which proved to be the last time the club won the First Division for 41 years, the longest they have gone without winning the league in their history.

For the next ten years, the club went into a state of gradual decline before being relegated back down to Division Two in 1922.

United were promoted again in 1925, but struggled to get into the top half of the table, and were relegated again in 1931.

In the eight years leading up to the Second World War, the club became somewhat of a yo-yo club, reaching their all-time lowest position of 20th in Division Two in 1934.

They were promoted and relegated once again before being promoted in the penultimate season before the Second World War.

They guaranteed their place in the top flight for after the war by finishing in 14th in the 1938–39 season.

The Busby years (1945–1969)
1945 saw the appointment of Matt Busby to the manager's post at Old Trafford.

He took an uncommon approach to his job, insisting that he be allowed to pick his own team, choose which players to sign and direct the team's training sessions himself.

He had already missed out on the manager's job at his former club, Liverpool, because the club saw those tasks as jobs for the directors, but United decided to take a chance on Busby's innovative ideas.

Busby's first signing was not a player, but a new assistant manager by the name of Jimmy Murphy.

The risk the club had taken in appointing Busby paid immediate dividends, with the club finishing second in the league in 1947, 1948 and 1949 and winning the FA Cup in 1948, thanks in part to the locally born trio of Stan Pearson, Jack Rowley and Charlie Mitten (Rowley and Pearson both scored in the 1948 Cup Final), as well as the centre-half from the North-East, Allenby Chilton.

Charlie Mitten had fled to Colombia in search of a better salary, but the remainder of United's old heads managed to win the First Division title back in 1952.

The young players such as Roger Byrne, Bill Foulkes, Mark Jones and Dennis Viollet took time to bed themselves into the side, sliding to a low of eighth place in 1953, but the team won the league again in 1956 with an average age of only 22, scoring 103 goals in the process.

Busby's original "crop" of youth players was referred to as the Busby Babes, the jewel in the crown of which was a wing-half named Duncan Edwards.

Duncan Edwards from Dudley in the West Midlands made his United début at the age of just 16 back in 1953. It was said that Edwards could play at any position on the field, and many who saw him play said that he was the greatest player ever.

The following season, 1956–57, they won the league again and reached the FA Cup final, losing to Aston Villa.

They also became the first English team to compete in the European Cup, at the behest of the FA, who had denied Chelsea the same opportunity the previous season, and reached the semi-final, only to be knocked out by Real Madrid. En route to the semi-final, United also recorded a win that still stands as their biggest win in all competitions, beating Belgian champions Anderlecht 10–0 at Maine Road.

Tragedy struck the following season, when the plane carrying the team home from a European Cup match crashed on take-off at a refuelling stop in Munich, Germany. The Munich air disaster of 6 February 1958 claimed the lives of eight players – Geoff Bent, Roger Byrne, Eddie Colman, Duncan Edwards, Mark Jones, David Pegg, Tommy Taylor and Liam "Billy" Whelan – and another fifteen passengers, including United staff members Walter Crickmer, Bert Whalley and Tom Curry. United goalkeeper Harry Gregg managed to maintain consciousness after the crash, and through fear of the plane exploding at any second, he grabbed both Bobby Charlton – who had made his United début less than 18 months earlier – and Dennis Viollet by their waistbands and dragged them to safety. Seven United players died at the scene, while Duncan Edwards died a fortnight later in hospital. Right-winger Johnny Berry also survived the accident, but injuries sustained in the accident brought his football career to a premature end. Matt Busby was not given much hope of survival by the Munich doctors, and was even given the Last Rites at one point, but recovered miraculously and was finally let out of hospital after having spent over two months there.

Jimmy Murphy took over as manager while Busby recovered from his injuries and the club continued playing with a makeshift side. They reached the FA Cup final again, where they lost to Bolton Wanderers.

United managed to push Wolverhampton Wanderers right to the wire the following season, finishing in a creditable second place; not bad for a team that had lost nine first-team players to the Munich air disaster.

Busby rebuilt the team throughout the early 1960s, signing players such as Denis Law and Pat Crerand, all the while nurturing his new generation of youngsters. Perhaps the most famous of this new batch was a young man from Belfast named George Best.

The team won the FA Cup in 1963, albeit finishing in 19th place in the First Division.
The FA Cup triumph seemed to reinvigorate the players, who helped the club to second place in 1964, and then went one better by winning the league in 1965 and 1967.

United won the European Cup in 1968, beating Eusébio's Benfica 4–1 in the final, becoming the first English club to win the competition.

Matt Busby resigned as manager in 1969 and was replaced by the reserve team coach and former United player, Wilf McGuinness.

1969–1986
United struggled to replace Busby, and the team struggled under Wilf McGuinness in the 1969–70 season, finishing a disappointing eighth, and following a poor start to the 1970–71 season, McGuinness was demoted back to the position of reserve team coach.

Busby was coaxed back to the club, albeit only for six months. Results got better with Busby's guidance, but he finally left the club for the last time in the summer of 1971. In the meantime, United had lost a number of high-profile players such as Nobby Stiles and Pat Crerand.

Despite approaching Celtic's European Cup-winning manager, Jock Stein, for the manager's job – Stein had agreed a verbal contract to join United, but pulled out at the last minute – Frank O'Farrell was appointed as Busby's successor.

However, O'Farrell only lasted less than 18 months, the only difference between the two being that O'Farrell reacted to the team's poor form by bringing in some fresh talent, most specifically Martin Buchan from Aberdeen for £125,000.

Tommy Docherty became manager at the end of 1972. Docherty, or "the Doc", saved United from relegation that season but they were relegated in 1974, by which time the golden trio of Best, Law and Charlton had left the club.

Denis Law had moved to Manchester City in the summer of 1973, and ended up scoring the goal that many people say relegated United, and politely refused to celebrate the goal with his team mates.

Players like Lou Macari, Stewart Houston and Brian Greenhoff were brought in to replace Best, Law and Charlton, but none could live up to the stature of the three that came before.

The team won promotion at the first attempt, with a young Steve Coppell making his début towards the end of that season, having joined from Tranmere Rovers, and reached the FA Cup final in 1976, but were beaten by Southampton.

They reached the final again in 1977, beating Liverpool 2–1. In spite of this success and his popularity with the supporters, Docherty was sacked soon after the final when he was found to have had an affair with the physiotherapist's wife.

Dave Sexton replaced Docherty as manager in the summer of 1977, and made the team play in a more defensive formation. This style was unpopular with supporters, who were used to the attacking football preferred by Docherty and Busby.

Major signings under Sexton included Joe Jordan, Gordon McQueen, Gary Bailey and Ray Wilkins, but Sexton's defensive United failed to break out of mid-table obscurity, only once finishing in the top two, and only reached the FA Cup final once, losing to Arsenal.

Because of this lack of trophies, Sexton was sacked in 1981, even though he won his last seven games in charge.

He was replaced by the flamboyant Ron Atkinson, whose extrovert attitude was reflected in the clubs he managed.

He immediately broke the British record transfer fee to sign Bryan Robson from his old club, West Brom.

Robson developed into what many consider to have been United's best midfield player since Duncan Edwards.

Atkinson's team featured new signings such as Jesper Olsen, Paul McGrath and Gordon Strachan playing alongside former youth team players Norman Whiteside and Mark Hughes.
United won the FA Cup twice in three years, in 1983 and 1985, and were overwhelming favourites to win the league in the 1985–86 season after winning their first ten league games, opening a ten-point gap over their rivals as early as October. The team's form collapsed, however, and United finished the season in fourth place.

The poor form continued into the following season, and with United on the edge of the First Division's relegation zone by the beginning of November 1986, Atkinson was sacked.

Alex Ferguson era, pre-Treble (1986–1998)
Alex Ferguson arrived from Aberdeen to replace Atkinson on the very day that Atkinson was sacked, bringing with him his assistant manager, Archie Knox.

Although his first match in charge, against Oxford United on 8 November 1986, resulted in a 2–0 defeat, Ferguson guided the club to an 11th place finish in the league.

A second place finish in 1987–88, with Brian McClair becoming the first United player since George Best to score twenty league goals in a season, may have given fans a tiny glimpse of the future, but they soon returned to mediocrity with another 11th-place finish in 1989.

Many of Ferguson's signings did not reach the expectations of the fans, and the manager was reportedly on the verge of being sacked at the beginning of 1990, with many believing that defeat to Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup Third Round would seal his fate. A 56th-minute goal from Mark Robins won the match for United and started them on a cup run that would take them all the way to the final at Wembley, where they beat Crystal Palace 1–0 in a replay after a 3–3 draw in the original match.

The following year, United reached the final of the League Cup, but lost 1–0 to former manager Ron Atkinson's Sheffield Wednesday team. However, the season was capped by the club's first Cup Winners' Cup title, beating Barcelona 2–1 in the final in Rotterdam.

The Cup Winners' Cup triumph allowed the team to play in the 1991 UEFA Super Cup, in which they beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford.

A second consecutive League Cup final appearance followed in 1992, with United this time beating Nottingham Forest 1–0 at Wembley.

Meanwhile, events were taking place off the pitch around the turn of the decade, as chairman Martin Edwards attempted to offload the club to property tycoon Michael Knighton in 1989.

In 1991, requiring some extra financial support in the wake of the Taylor Report, the club floated on the London Stock Exchange with a valuation of £47 million, bringing its finances into the public eye. Martin Edwards retained his position as chairman, but the club was now publicly owned.

The summer of 1991 also saw the arrival of Danish goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, whose 17 league clean sheets gave United the best defensive record in the First Division in 1991–92, helping them to a second-place finish behind Leeds United, within whose ranks was a certain French maverick named Eric Cantona.

Alex Ferguson recognized United's need for a striker as a foil for Mark Hughes and Brian McClair, and when Leeds manager Howard Wilkinson rang Martin Edwards in November 1992 to enquire about the availability of Denis Irwin, the conversation quickly turned to Cantona. To Edwards' and Ferguson's surprise, the two clubs were able to agree upon a fee of £1.2 million for the enigmatic Frenchman.

Cantona's arrival provided the crucial spark for United, helping the team to their first league title since 1967.

After the signing of Roy Keane from Nottingham Forest in July 1993, United won a second consecutive title for the first time since 1957 the following year, before winning the FA Cup to complete the first "Double" in the club's history.

That same year, however, the club went into mourning following the death of former manager and club director Matt Busby, who died on 20 January 1994.

The 1994–95 season was to be the club's first trophyless season since 1988–89, although they managed to take the title race down to the final week of the season and reached the final of the FA Cup, where they lost to Everton.

Andy Cole was signed from Newcastle United for a British record fee of £6 million plus Keith Gillespie.

The game after Cole's United debut, Eric Cantona received an eight month suspension for jumping into the crowd and assaulting Crystal Palace supporter Matthew Simmons, who had given Cantona racial abuse as he left the field, in United's game at Selhurst Park.

The season's relative failure prompted Ferguson into some major restructuring of the team, selling Paul Ince, Andrei Kanchelskis and Mark Hughes and replacing them with players from the club's youth team, including David Beckham, Gary Neville, Phil Neville and Paul Scholes.

After the club's 3–1 defeat to Aston Villa on the opening day of the 1995–96 season, television pundit Alan Hansen famously declared "you'll never win anything with kids."

The new players, several of whom quickly became regular internationals for England, responded well and, buoyed by Cantona's return in October 1995, United became the first English club to have won the double twice, a feat that would be nicknamed the "Double Double".

Captain Steve Bruce left for Birmingham City in July 1996, and Alex Ferguson named Eric Cantona as the new club captain. He led the team to a fourth league title in five years in 1996–97, before retiring from football at the age of 30 at the end of the season.

Teddy Sheringham was brought in to replace him, and his iconic number 7 shirt was handed to David Beckham.

They started the 1997–98 season well, but they lost five matches after Christmas and finished in second place, one point behind double-winners Arsenal.

After a period without a regular challenger for the league title, this marked Arsenal's arrival as genuine title contenders for the next few years.

The Treble (1998–99)
The 1998–99 season for Manchester United was the most successful season in English club football history as they became the only English team to win The Treble – winning the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League in the same season.

After a very tense Premier League season, Manchester United won the title on the final day beating Tottenham Hotspur 2–1, whilst Arsenal won 1–0 against Aston Villa.

Winning the Premier League was the first part of the Treble in place, the one part that manager Alex Ferguson described as the hardest.

In the FA Cup Final United faced Newcastle United and won 2–0 with goals from Teddy Sheringham and Paul Scholes.

In the final match of that season, the 1999 UEFA Champions League Final they defeated Bayern Munich in what is considered one of the greatest comebacks ever witnessed, going into injury time a goal behind and then scoring twice to win 2–1.

Ferguson was subsequently knighted for his services to football.

Rounding out that record breaking year, Manchester United also won the Intercontinental Cup after beating Palmeiras 1–0 in Tokyo.

After the Treble (1999–present)
United won the league in 2000 and 2001, but the press saw those seasons as failures as the club failed to regain the European Cup.

In 2000, Manchester United became one of 14 founder members of the G-14 group of leading European football clubs.

The club also declined to take part in the 1999–2000 FA Cup, instead competing in the inaugural FIFA Club World Championship in Brazil, citing pressure from the FA, UEFA and the England 2006 World Cup bid committee.

Ferguson adopted more defensive tactics to make United harder to beat in Europe, but it was not a success and United finished the 2001–02 Premier League season in third place.

They regained the league the following season (2002–03) and started the following season well, but their form dropped significantly when Rio Ferdinand received a controversial eight month suspension for missing a drugs test.

They did win the 2004 FA Cup, however, knocking out Arsenal (that season's eventual league champions) on their way to the final in which they beat Millwall.

The 2004–05 season was characterised by a failure to score goals, mainly due to the injury of striker Ruud van Nistelrooy and United finished the season trophyless and in third place in the league.

This time, even the FA Cup eluded them as Arsenal beat United on penalties after a goalless draw after 120 minutes.

Off the pitch, the main story was the possibility of the club being taken over and on 12 May 2005, American businessman Malcolm Glazer acquired a controlling interest in the club through his investment vehicle Red Football Ltd. in a takeover valuing the club at approximately £800 million (then approx. $1.5 billion). On 16 May, he increased his share to the 75% necessary to de-list the club from the Stock Exchange, making it private again, and announced his intention to do so within 20 days. On 8 June, he appointed his sons to the Manchester United board as non-executive directors.

United made a poor start to the 2005–06 season, with midfielder Roy Keane leaving the club to join Celtic after publicly criticizing several of his team-mates.

The club had also failed to qualify for the knockout phase of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in over a decade, after losing to Benfica.

Their season was also dealt cruel blows with injuries to key players such as Gabriel Heinze, Alan Smith, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes.

However, they were prevented from being left empty-handed in successive seasons a disappointment not endured in the last 17 years – by winning the 2006 League Cup, beating newly promoted neighbours Wigan Athletic in the final 4–0.

United also ensured a second-place finish and automatic Champions League qualification on the final day of the season by defeating Charlton Athletic 4–0.

At the end of the 2005–06 season, one of United's key strikers, Ruud van Nistelrooy, left the club to join Real Madrid, due to a row with Alex Ferguson.

The 2006–07 season saw United return to the attacking style of football that was the cornerstone of their years of success in the late 1990s, scoring almost 20 more goals in 32 matches than second placed side Chelsea.

In January 2007, United signed Henrik Larsson on a two-month loan from Swedish side Helsingborg, and the striker played an important role in advancing United to the semi-finals of the Champions League, with hopes for a second Treble; however, upon reaching the semi-finals, United lost to Milan 3–5 on aggregate.

Four years after their last title, United claimed back the Premier League title on 6 May 2007, after Chelsea drew away with Arsenal, leaving the Blues seven points behind with two games to go, following United's 1–0 victory in the Manchester derby the previous day, making it their ninth Premier League title in the 15 seasons of its existence.

However, an unprecedented fourth Double was not to be as Chelsea beat United 1–0 in extra time in the first FA Cup Final to be held at the new Wembley Stadium; the first to be held in England since the old stadium was demolished seven years earlier.

2007–08 saw United successfully complete the European double despite a poor start to the season, finding themselves in 17th place in the Premier League after three matches.

However, on 11 May 2008, United retained the Premier League title with a win over Wigan Athletic. With title rivals Chelsea only able to draw with Bolton Wanderers, United finished the season two points clear.

The club also reached the European Cup final for the third time in their history, having knocked out such clubs as Barcelona and Roma en-route to the final. They beat Chelsea 6–5 on penalties in the final in Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium, after a 1–1 draw in normal time on 21 May 2008.

With this win, they earned their third European Cup title and kept up their record of never having lost a major European final.

Coincidentally, this season marked the 100th year since Manchester United won their first League title, 50 years after the Munich air disaster and 40 years after Manchester United became the first ever English side to win the European Cup. The European Cup final also saw Ryan Giggs make his 759th appearance for the club, overtaking Bobby Charlton as the club's record appearance maker.

Before the start of the 2008–09 season, United competed in and won the 2008 FA Community Shield. United beat 2007-08 FA Cup winners Portsmouth 3–1 on penalties, after the match finished 0–0 after 90 minutes.

On 21 December 2008, United added more silverware to their trophy cabinet with a win in the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup Final, defeating the Ecuadorian side LDU Quito 1–0 in Japan, Wayne Rooney scoring the winning goal.

Two months later, they added the 2009 League Cup to their trophy cabinet, after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 4–1 on penalties.

On 16 May, United secured their 11th Premier League title – and 18th league title overall – following a 0–0 draw at home to Arsenal, winning three consecutive Premier League titles for a second time.

On 27 May 2009, Barcelona beat Manchester United 2–0 in the Champions League final in Rome, falling to goals from Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi.

The Champions League final turned out to be the last match for both Carlos Tévez – whose loan contract came to an end on 30 June – and Cristiano Ronaldo – who was sold to Real Madrid for £80 million, breaking the world transfer record set by Real Madrid's signing of Kaká from Milan for £56 million.

However, United replied to the losses by signing Michael Owen on a free transfer, Antonio Valencia for £17 million and Gabriel Obertan for £3 million.

Alhamdulillah, yippie... UNITED goes to the top of the premier league table after a 2-0 winnng against Stoke City. Ryan Giggs became the hero by made a two assists. The goal scorers were Dimitar and John O'Shea.

I got the amazing parcel from my heroes, hehe, they beat City 4-3 on September 20 at Old Trafford. The goals were scored by WAZZA, Darren (two times), and Michael Owen. Michael became the hero as he scored the last goal that brings UNITED became the winner of the game. Thanks to him:)!!!

City always scored a goal after a goal from UNITED during the match, except for the last goal made by Michael. Sorry for Tevez, he failed to score a goal, haha...

The Incredible Birthday Gift

Last Sunday, September 13, was my birthday ... Thanks so much for all my heroes from OT. They gave me the nicest gift that I got at this birthday. They beat Spurs 3-1 (Great!!!) at White Hart Lane .

Defoe gave a little surprise when he scored a goal when the match just started, exactly at the fiftieth seconds, ck ck ck…

However, UNITED lead 2-1 when the referee blew the whistle that signs the break time by the goals from Ryan Giggs and Anderson. You know, this is the first goal of Anderson in Premier League, wow!!!

UNITED then only has 10 players at the field when Paul got the red card . However (again), WAZZA scored the last goal in the match to bring UNITED to a 3-1 winning .

One of my favorite movies all the time is 10 Things I Hate About You. I like the story, the star (Julia Stiles) and especially I like the poem that Kat wrote for Pat in the movie. Yeah, my favorite couple in this movie is Kat and Pat .

By the way, Heath Ledger also plays in this movie, I hope you still remember that he was the one who died from an accidental "toxic combination of prescription drugs" after playing the role of Joker for The Dark Night (2008)

I have been very irritated lately. Do you want to know why? Why? Okay, I’ll tell you: THEY DIDN’T HEAR ME!!! They no paid attention to what I SAID!!!

Actually, it’s really tiring!!!

And, I’ve become madder because it is not only happened once, but many times!!!

Why they did it to me? To the most sensitive girl in the Milky Way… why?? Why???

It was happened for the first time at the meeting of the committee of RAMADHAN EVENT at my campus. I have explained about the consumption matter for the first event of our agenda. I HAVE EXPLAINED why our Student Activity Manager was angry to us. I thought I’ve explained clearly and completely so all of them have understood the matter. But I WAS WRONG!! When the meeting has moved to the next subject and my friend unintentionally talked about the consumption matter once again (only she and I that exactly knew the consumption matter), everyone in the room said: ‘Oh, I see…’

Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!

Did they hear me?? I just talked about it a few seconds ago!

I was really mad!!!

Was my voice too low? Was my explanation not clear? Am I a bad person? Am I an unimportant subject to be heard?

Then, the second time was happened in the journey back from the Bellagio Apartment and Mall, when the T-Club had a birthday party of the Senpai at Tomodachi Restaurant. Tadayoshi was making a joke by asking about the advertisement of Trenz Biscuit, where the mannequins are climbing the ITC Building to get the ‘Trenz’ at the top. I wondered if it was the first time for Six to see it. If yes, how come? The advertisement has been there since the building exists! So, I said: “it was there since long times ago, it is only mannequin!”

HOWEVER, you know what one of them said a few seconds later?

“Oh my god! Tadayoshi, they are just mannequins!”

That person said it with the expression as if she/he just saw it for the first time!

Agh, agh, agh! I was tired; my heart was a little bit broken!

It’s time to make‘revenge’!

You know what; I’ve planned to be the gold one: SILENT! Silent means gold. It is true, isn’t it? I hope I can spend my most hours to write or read, not to listen to whatever they said and make a reply that will be just ignored by them!!!

I am tired to be an ignored person!

It is the first time for UNITED to meet the three clubs in UCL. I hope UNITED will not get many problems to be the number 1 in this group.

I like watching movies, and I like many kind of movies: drama, romantic, comedy, adventure, fantasy, thriller, horror, musical, science fiction, historical, and action (sometimes) and war (just a few movies). Besides, I like watching television drama, like Heroes, Supernatural, Dawson’s Creek, The Lost, and Ghost Whisperer.

Hmm, I also like East Asian Drama, mostly from Korean, Japan, and Taiwan. I have already watched many of them. Korean Drama: Boys Before Flowers (a.k.a. Kgot Boda Namja), Mackerel Run, Sassy Girl Chun Hyang (a.k.a. Delightful Girl Choon Hyang), Full House, Silence, 18 vs 29, Endless Love (a.k.a. Autumn Tale), Wonderful Life, Jewell in The Palace, Memories In Bali, Summer Scent, Princess Hours, Stairway to Heaven, and many more. Taiwan Drama: Meteor Garden, MVP Lovers, Naughty Kiss, They Kiss Again, Mars, and so on. Japan Drama: Koizora, Boys Over Flowers (a.k.a Hanayori Dango), Oshin, Itazura Na Kiss, Bloody Monday, Attention Please, and many more.

Now, I want to talk about my most favorite things from East-Asian Drama.

Btw, if you ask me why I watch Korean Drama more than the others, I will answer that Korean Actors mostly are really handsome!! Hahaha...

But, it’s not the only reason. I think the story of Korean Drama is better than the others. You can check it out by yourself if you don’t believe me, hehe...

Well, the most of the most favorite is Sassy Girl Chun Hyang!!!

I really like this drama. The story (mostly funny, but there are also sad and romantic episodes), the actors, the actresses, even all of the soundtracks of this drama. I like all of them!

I’ve already told you the synopsis of the drama on a posting titled “Bella, Han Chae-Young, and I”

Now, I just want to write about the soundtrack of the drama. Well, you can hear also the songs. I will only tell you about my most favorite songs:

1. Mi Ahn Hae Ya Ha Neun Guh Ni
It is a very sad song. It is always played if there is a sad scene. Sometimes I cry when I watch any scene with this song. However, I don’t know why, the scene of the first kiss is also with this song. Actually, it’s really a happy scene...

2. Sarang Haeyo (English: I Love You)
Well, there are many scenes in this drama that have this song, but I don’t know why I just can remember about the very last scene, the wedding, every time I hear this song...

3. Eung Geub Shil
I remember this song especially when they (Both Mong Ryong and Chun Hyang) meet at the bus station. It’s the first time they decide to really live together as a couple..

4. The Instrumental One (Hoho, I don’t know the title)
Contrary with Mi Ahn Hae Ya Ha Neun Guh Ni, this song is really a happy song. It accompanies many happy scenes. One of my favorite is when Mong-Ryong tries to find Chun-Hyang in the mall after the girl promised him to tell about her love to him directly if he can find her.

Yep, I think that’s enough for this moment...

I think you should watch this drama, especially for you who love East-Asian Dramas.

UNITED back on track after a 5-0 win at Wigan, Alhamdulillah...

Three goals in seven minutes; two from Wayne Rooney (pictured, right), either side of a strike from the excellent Dimitar Berbatov, helped the champions eased to victory at the DW Stadium.

Substitute Michael Owen added some gloss late on, converting his first goal for the club with a typically measured finish, and Nani (pictured, left) curled in a stoppage-time free-kick.

Although Sir Alex Ferguson's side coasted to victory, nerves were starting to build after 56 goalless minutes, coming hot on the heels of a 1-0 defeat at Burnley in midweek.

The perpetrators of Wednesday's worst misses, Owen and Michael Carrick, were dropped from the first team - Carrick did not even appear on the bench.

Berbatov replaced Owen and displayed energy and imagination in an encouraging performance. He backheeled to Paul Scholes in the seventh minute, but the normally deadly midfielder blazed a glorious chance over from the edge of the box.

However, they could not get over their impotence in front of goal, which was characterised when Rooney ran on to a sumptuous long through ball, but shot low at Kirkland's legs when clean through.

No sooner had the second half started than another chance went begging as Valencia headed down for Rooney, who miscued his volley.

Just as the familiar arguments were being rehearsed about the impossibility of replacing Cristiano Ronaldo's goals, Rooney struck.

On 56 minutes, Antonio Valencia clipped in a right-sided cross against his former club, and Rooney rose to direct a firm header into the top-left corner and score his 100th goal for the Reds.

UNITED won 5-2 againts Spurs last night at Old Trafford. The Champions were facing defeat after two goals put Spurs two up before half-time. But there was an incridible turaround that UNITED scored FIVE TIMES in the second half!!!

CR7 made a goal on penalty as Michael was brought down by Gomes at 56'. Ten minutes later, Wazza followed the goal by another one. Then, Wazza pull UNITED level by playing a magnificient ball through for Ronaldo to put register CR7's second with a diving header a minute later.

at 70', Wazza then scored his second goal after Ronaldo repaid the compliment with a clipped ball through which Wazza controlled before firing goalwards - Gomes got something on it, but the ball crept over the line before Jonathan Woodgate scrambled it away.

Dimitar completed the scoring at 79', bundling the ball over the line after Gomes had spilled his initial header, to repay his manager's faith in him.

Ferguson sent out a strong side, with Berbatov recalled to the starting line-up despite United fans' barracking of the player following his lacklustre penalty miss in last weekend's FA Cup semi-final defeat to Everton.

Everyone knows that Wayne Rooney was formerly a fan of Everton, therefore he joined the Everton Football Academy, then he first played as a professional footballer as Everton's. Even he ever wore a T-Shirt with the words: Once Blue, Always Blue.

However, lucky him, he moved to the greatest football club all over the world: MANCHESTER UNITED.

His soul now has a new and the only one couple: The Red Devils.

Now, he even has a reason to hate his ex-club. It's Everton beat UNITED at the FA CUP semifinal on penalties as Howard saved from Dimitar and Rio.

Everton made 2 problems for Wazza especially.

First, they end UNITED's chance to get quintuple of trophies this season. It's really mean! They are really bad! Quintuple's chance is rare to happen, but now when UNITED still kept the chance until semifinal, they in fact broke our great dream...

Second, Everton broke Wazza's dream to win FA Cup. You know, since he was a child, Wazza has been dreaming to play at Wembley and win FA Trophy. He ever played twice at final, but first beat by Arsenal (2005) and then Chel**** (2007). How sad it is... Everton is really mean to Wazza!

OUR third and fourth Semifinal

UNITED made a history, became the first British Club which win at Estadio do Dragao, the dragon cage, Porto's home, in 23 attempts over 41 years. They won 1-0 against Porto and went on to UCL 2009 Semifinal. They'll face Arsenal, who beat Villareal.

CR7 scored the only goal at the match, it seemed he paid for his bad play at the first leg against Porto at OT. Moreover, and happier, this is the first clean sheet UNITED got after their uncertainty and worrying matches, after the lost against Liverpool. I am so glad...

The match versus Arsenal at this UCL will be the fourth semifinal for UNITED along this 2008/09 season. The first one was versus Gamba Osaka at FIFA Club World Cup in last December. Then, The second semifinal match was against Derby at Carling Cup. The third one will be held today, against Everton, at FA Cup. Chelsea is already waiting at the Final, after beating Arsenal yesterday, 2-1.

Fuih, Federico Macheda a.k.a. Kiko once again became a hero when he replaced the injured Berbatov and scored the winning goal one minute later. Great job, young Italiano! The score was 1-1 between UNITED and Sunderland before he entered the field. United lead 1-0 since 19' with a goal by Paul, but Sunderland made a goal in the beginning second half.

Sir Alex rested Edwin and Cristiano, but the Portuguese played at the second half, and the keeper was Ben Foster. Wazza got a yellow card, what a pity, he just came back from his punishment. United still didn't play as well as they could. I hope this problem can be solved soon.

UNITED seems happy to make their fans worried along the match! Hehe.. No matter how they played, the final result is the winning and they go back to the TOP SPOT! I really love my UNITED!

Hmm, actually this film was produced in 2003 and first released on April 17, 2004 at Indonesia, I just watched this yesterday (April 10, 2009). It’s too late, isn’t it? Hehe..

I like the amazing charm of this film. I couldn’t stop smiling while and after I watched this. Moreover, I like the song too, Love is all around, and the background music is really beautiful!

I’ll tell u the brief story about this movie.

Set mostly in England, there are many characters with different love stories who are mutually related. David (Hugh Grant), the new prime minister, falls for his catering manager, Natalie (Martine McCutcheon), since the first sight. David’s sister, Karen (Emma Thompson), has problem with his husband, Harry (Alan Rickman). Harry somewhat has secret affair with his secretary, Mia. Moreover, Karen’s friends, Daniel (Liam Neeson) just lost his wife and discovered that his young stepson (Samuel) is in love with his schoolmate, and Jamie (Colin Firth) was broken-heart because his girl friend left him for his younger brother but then he finds a better woman, a Portuguese (Aurelia), when he stayed at France for finishing his writing.

Furthermore, Harry’s editor, Sarah (Laura Linney), has been dreaming to be with Karl, his colleague, for more than two years. Harry’s another employee, Colin, has decided to go to America, because he was frustrated with England girls. Colin’s pal, Tony, has two film stars who are in love to each other: Just Judy and John a.k.a. Jack. The last story is about Jamie’s friends: Mark (Andrew Lincoln) and Peter. Mark actually has fallen in love with Juliet (Keira Knightley), his best friend’s (Peter) wife, since long time ago, even since Peter and Juliet are not already married, but Mark instead telling the truth he acts unfriendly toward Juliet.

Oh yes, don’t forget that Rowan Atkinson also stars this movie, he plays as Rufus, the seller of a necklace which is bought by Harry. Like his common style, his acting is very weird and witty.

UNITED played draw against Porto at the UCL quarter final last night. They didn't play well, though this match was held at our Theater of Dreams. Even at 3', UNITED must saved their goal hard... It's so strange... They lost 1-0 at 4', then Wazza scored a goal for 1-1. At 85', Carlitos scored a goal, well, wuih, all of UNITED fans were really happy and felt a relief at that moment...
But, Porto scored another goal three minutes later.
The final score is 2-2. It's really not a good result for UNITED.

Fiuh, it's really a relief... UNITED won again, and I hope this winning is followed by other winnings, and the soonest match is against Porto at UCL.

Versus Villa last night, UNITED was lost 2-1 until 80', but fortunately CR7 scored his second goal at the match, then followed by another goal by Federico Macheda at the injury time! Wow, it's so a tense moment!

Saturday noon, I was trying to take a nap, but I couldn’t. Saturday always be my laziest day. I sleep for four times along the day... However, that time I couldn’t close my eyes easily...
Why?

Something in my head, I couldn’t turn it off...

Before trying to sleep, I read my third INSIDE UNITED (Bahasa Version), an official magazine of the greatest club all of the world, ho ho ho... Yep, Manchester UNITED, I mean.

Apparently, the idea that I got from my reading continued, getting clearer and stronger... That’s why I couldn’t sleep. So, I got up from my bed and turned my laptop on. Then, I wrote this.

Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, I GOT A FANTASTIC IDEA!!!

Fantastic for me, ehm.. ehm...

I want to apply for a job to INSIDE UNITED INDONESIA...

Actually, I just want to do something real to support my beloved team. I found that INSIDE UNITED still have many mistakes in spelling. I can help them to correct it. I can be a REVISER! Wow, it sounds interesting for me. Yeah, I want it! I want it!

So, don’t waste any time. I have to look for my notes about APPLYING A JOB, and I must collect everything that can support me, prove that I’m qualified for a Reviser. Or, if it’s possible, I want to translate some pages too.

Free English Course at TBI

I joined a free course at TBI for four weeks, five meetings in a week, and two hours for each meeting. I was so lucky, wasn’t I? I really like my experience there. There are many good and nice teachers. They taught us, the students, the free-of-charge students in this case, with different style than others did. I spoke English much there, something that I never really did before. My English Speaking is the worst field of me. I realized that. I was really glad to join them.

I will tell you how to join the free course at the very end of this writing.

There are native and nonnative teachers. I had eleven ‘in training’ teachers (Jerry-Canada, Kika-INA, Mirah-INA, Stefi-Argentina, Nissya-UK, Kellie-UK, Mike-USA, Sindy-INA, Naila-Kazakhstan + New Zealand, Arvin-INA, and Lena-INA) and two permanent teachers (Mr. David and Mrs. Jody). My favorite teachers are Kika, Naila, and Kellie.

Kika, because she always has fun idea to teach the students. We laughed so much every time Kika taught us. The funniest idea of her was when she introduced to us some new craziest sport game! She mixed two until four existing sport game to make a new one. She gave one picture of new sport game to a pair of two students, and then asked us to make the game rule. My friend and I got a sport game that is a combination of football, F1, and athletics (sprinter and lifter)!!! That’s a really pleasant learning!

The second is Naila. She is really a nice teacher. She also did a fun teaching sometimes. My favorite subject of her is when she taught us about different wedding culture at some countries: India, Chinese, and Middle East. Then, she asked us to tell about many different wedding cultures in Indonesia. My group told her about Betawi’s culture (Jakarta’s old ethnic). It was the last meeting with her and TBIs.

The last favorite teacher of me is Kellie. I like her style. She is so English! She is so British! She is a beautiful, young, and energetic teacher. I envy her, because she is lucky to be an English! You know, I’ve been dreaming to go to UK some time since long time ago. I really like ENGLISH, especially MANCHESTER UNITED, of course!

Kellie is the best friend of NIssya. You know, I saw both of them at Mall Ambassador two days later after the last meeting of TBI’s free course. You know, Nissya ever told me that she loved my writing style. One day, she asked us to write an email to someone by using the words that have been collected from a game before. The words for me were:

pecel lele (Indonesia’s food)

wake up late.

So, here is my email, with some corrections by Nissya:

Dear Fina,
How are you? I’m okay. I want to tell you about my new idea for spending our boring holiday. I’m sure you will like this great idea.
I’m going to visit a grave on Thursday night. My younger brother recently was forced to pass a grave when he was coming back from school. he swore that he saw a ghost there. He told me that the ghost spoke to him! It asked my brother a question: “How old are you?”. Hmm, I know what you are thinking now. It sounds like rubbish, doesn’t it? So, let’s prove it! I’m definitely sure that you’ll be happy with my idea. And I can imagine what you will say if you finally see the ghost: “Oh, my dreams have come true!”
I’ve already prepared myself well to face anything that is waiting for us in the grave. I just want to make sure that I can beat my fear and survive. Therefore, I watch a horror movie every night before sleeping. Besides, I practice some skill to help me survive: running, throwing, and boxing. I’m planning to throw a ball to the ghost if it is angry. At least, I hope I can run really fast.
Can you pick me up at 9 pm? Before going to the grave, let’s have dinner at pecel lele stool, near the grave. Please drive a fast car, not your own car. You can borrow your father’s car. Just be nice to your father so he will allow you to drive his car. For example: don’t wake up late! I know he’ll be angry if you wake up late in the morning.

My life was colorful after watching United won 2-0 against Inter at UCL last Wednesday. It’s United’s first match that I watched this year. I was so happy for seeing my heroes at the field, Old Trafford for this case, again. I laughed sometimes while watching the match.

My happiness was complete because other English clubs also got success to continue to the next round. There are still four clubs! What an amazing league! I was really glad of BPL! Wow, wow! I could stop smiling all the day...

I knew about the result just because my brother told me, the score, via a message to my cell phone. I thought he was kidding me at first. But then I realized that he never kidding about UNITED! He loves United too, but his love is not as big as mine, I guess.
Well, no matter what happened, the life must go on. I’m still busy with my new fun project. I’m now translating Midnight Sun (or, midnightsun? Hmm, I must check it out...) to Bahasa.

United continued their amazing sensation by beat Fulham last night, 4-0!!! Hence, they go to semifinal. There are two matches left to get FA 2009 throphy. So did Chelsea. But, I'm not telling you about Hidding's squad... Hehe...

Carlitos scored two goals at the first half. I like his second goal! It's really a great goal! I can't describe it,,,
Moreover, at the second half, each of Wazza and JS Park (Bravo, Bravo, Asian! Hehe...) scored a goal. I like wazza's goal too. It's a really high-skilled goal!
Anyway, you know, recently UNITEDs (players, manager, fans, and everyone who related to UNITED) are one big happiest family all over the world!
Besides, UNITED often becomes a special topic. The journalists analyze UNITED's chance to get QUINTUPLE this season. Yep, UNITED has already two thropies: FIFA Club World Championship and Carling Cup. There are still three thropies that are waiting for us, possible to reach. Great Great job!!!

Yesterday was really a nice day. It started when I watched the news on Lensa Olahraga, that is UNITED won the carling cup.
I cannot stop smiling after that

My life is so wonderful. United makes me cannot breathe easily. I’m so so so impressed so much that I almost lost my breathe...

Others may think: “it’s just Carling Cup!”
I don’t think so.
It’s really Carling Cup!!! The Cup that will make us get a Quintuple!!
We will be the first team all over the world that will make a very great record: Quintuple!!!

Bella Swan, Han Chae-Young, and I (???)

Recently, I decided to watch my most favorite korean drama again. I already watched it when I was still at senior high school. it is about three or four years ago. I love this drama so much. It is the funniest drama I’ve ever known.

I found the videos of the drama from youtube. So, now, whenever I have a free time, I’ll download the videos. Now, I finished watching until 7th episode. It’s hard for me to be patient, to wait until I finish all... I really fall in love once again with the drama...

The story is about two senior high school students who are forced to get married because of a crime. The boy, Lee Mong-ryong was suspected did the crime, whereas he didn’t. The real criminals did the crime after stealing the boy’s motorcycle, so they did the crime by using the motorcycle. At the night the crime was happened, actually he was at the girl’s house. Accidentally they slept together in the same bed. He was drunk (he didn’t recognized the kind of drink that he drank), and the girl (Sung Chun-hyang) was sick, so they didn’t realize that they slept under the same blanket! So, they had no option except telling the truth that they was sleeping together when the crime was conducted. Then, the fact of ‘sleeping together’ is spread so fast that their family cannot stand any longer. They ask the young couple to get married. Haha...
Hmm, before getting married, in fact the boy already had someone whom he likes, but that older girl, Chae-rin, just considers him as her brother. So, the story becomes sad when Chun Hyang realized that she falls in love with Mong-Ryong, but she can do nothing. . There is an adult, Mr Biun, who always supports her, and then falls in love with her. However, don’t worry, it’s kind of a ‘happy-ending’ story... Hehe.. I love the happy ending!
The drama is played by the beautiful Han Chae-Young as Chun-hyang and Jae-Hee as Lee Mong-ryong.
After thinking for a while, I found some similarities between Sassy Girl and Twilight. How come???? Hehe...
In this case, Mong-ryong is Bella, Chae-rin is Edward, and Chun-hyang is Jacob. When Edward went, Bella is accompanied by Jacob, she started her new life hardly. MU won again for the ninth continuously winner, and the fourteenth continuously clean sheet..
It beat Fulham 3-0 surprisingly, because Fulham did well recently. The goals were scored by Paul, Dimitar, and Wazza. Wazza was so great. He scored a goal just after 2 minutes he entered the match. Well, lots of love for you, my hero!

My New Season

I’m a ‘seasonal’ girl . Yep! There is always something that I’m crazy about for a moment. It is especially happened recently. In the first two weeks of December I got ‘The Sims 2’season (actually, I’ve played the game for about one year, but in December I enjoyed it so much ‘cause I got all of the expansion packs of The Sims 2). Then, in the second two weeks of December I enjoyed ‘Heroes’ season. I finished two seasons of Heroes (season 1 & 3) in two weeks (I already watched season 2 on television). Next, in the first two weeks of January, there is a ‘College Final Test’ season. Hmpph... In that moment, I had no time except for reading my college books. It was so boring for me, and until now I don’t know yet how the result of my hard work. The announcement of my new GPA will be held on January 4. I only already knew that my score of TOEFL increases 93 points. Alhamdulillah...
And, my season now is TWILIGHT SAGA ... Hehehe...

Before I continue telling about my new season, I just want to make sure that you know something important about my seasonal character. That is, MANCHESTER UNITED is my only certain season along my life, no matter what happened...
Now, back to the topic. My friend said that I am sick of Bella & Edward story ‘cause I always relate anything to Twilight world. For example, if someone talks about a mountain, I ask if there is a grizzly bear there or not . Another example, if it’s raining in my hometown, I consider my town as Forks.
Hehehe...
I’m really falling in love with Twilight Saga world. I already read all of the books, and my favorite is Twilight surely. The second is Breaking Dawn, the third is New Moon, and the last is Eclipse. I have reasons for my choice. Twilight has many unforgettable experiences of Bella & Edward in their school. Those are so funny and pleasant. I love the way of Stephenie Meyer telling the story of beginning meeting of Bella & Edward (this my sentence is so confusing, isn’t it? Hehehe... I’m so sorry...). Then, Breaking Dawn ends so happily, and there are many great scenes, both pleasant and awful scenes. New Moon is boring when Edward is missing, however finally it ends happily. The Last, I don’t love Eclipse so much ‘cause Bella hurts Edward’s feeling... Hiks...
Btw, you know, my birthday is same with Bella’s... September 13!!!
Here are the most I like from these serials
1. The most favorite scene: actually, there are many favorite scenes, but the most that I can remember is the marriage of Bella & Edward (Breaking Dawn). Another favorite scene is when Bella, Edward, & Renesmee celebrate their winning in the ‘almost war’ against Volturi (Breaking Dawn).
2. The worst scene: Surely, when Edward leaves Bella in the forest after saying goodbye (New Moon)...
3. The funniest scene: when Jacob is irritated by Edward’s supernatural power, when he thinks about the Cullens desire the glass of blood that is drunk by Bella (Breaking Dawn). Hehehe... I hope you understand what I mean.
4. The most awful scene: The Birth of Renesmee (yeah, I was trembling when reading this scene)
5. The most favorite duel: Edward vs Victoria (Eclipse)
6. The most favorite character: So surely, Edward!!! He is the most handsome, he has the best soul, he has the greatest power, and bla-bla-bla.... I like him so much !!!
7. The worst character: Jane!
8. The most favorite vampire (besides Edward): Alice Cullen
9. The most favorite werewolf/shape-shifter: Seth Clearwater
10. The most favorite common person: Charlie Swan
11. The most favorite supernatural power: Bella’s power

Thanks to Berba and Carlitos for the only goal in the two last matches. It's always not a problem that UNITED only can score a goal in a match as long as UNITED win the match. They beated Stoke City in boxing day and The Boro in last monday by 1-0. Even, UNITED is better than chel**** or Arsenal, 'cause they were failed to win the match. Thanks so much to Fulham!
And about Liverpool, wow... I can say nothing. They are... wow! They beated Bolton 3-0 and Newcastle 5-1. Besides they are strong, I also respect them 'cause my best friend love them... UNITED, beware of them!!! However, I still believe that UNITED will win EPL this season. Just see, pray, and wait...

however, UNITED now must concern about their participation in Toyota Cup. They will fight against a club from South America (I forget the name, because it's difficult name... )

Undian UCL udah dirilis. Hasilnya?? 3 klub Italy bernasib kurang baik karna ktemu 3 jagoan dr EPL (hehe, sotoy... Maaph... Maaph... Ya Allah, moga gak kebalikan yaaa, aamiin).
My UNITED ktemu Inter, Chels*** bakal lawan Juve, n the last Roma mesti hadapin Arsenal.
